Yes. If a transfer to a hospital becomes necessary, we have access to an on-call private ambulance service that can assist with transport. Please note that the use of a private ambulance will incur an additional cost, and we encourage you to enquire about the applicable fees in advance.
Government ambulance services may also be contacted when needed; however, response times can vary and are dependent on the availability of government emergency transport services at the time. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of both mother and baby, and we will guide and support you throughout the process if a transfer becomes necessary.
If circumstances arise that prevent a home birth, a partial refund may be considered. Any refund amount will be determined at the discretion of the lead midwife and will depend on the stage of care provided, as well as any medical equipment, supplies, medications, or sundries that have been used or prepared for your birth. Each situation is assessed individually to ensure a fair outcome.
